Little Falls Historical Society Museum Research

All research work will be limited to two hours per request.

Both Society members and non-members are required to submit payment for research work in advance of such work.

SOCIETY MEMBERS will be charged $15 for two hours of research work and NON-MEMBERS will be charged $25 for two hours of research work.

Please include a brief, specific statement about what you would like to learn including names, places, dates (birth, marriage, death etc.) as well as information you have already found. The Little Falls Historical Society does not guarantee it will locate the information that you are seeking. It is best that you schedule an appointment for your visit (315-823-0643).

RESEARCH REQUEST – ADDITIONAL FEES

(We are a 501-c-3 non-profit organization and fees help support our facilities)  

Museum: There is no fee for entrance to the museum including tours by our Docents.

Records Use: A $5.00 fee is required for all on-site research for non-members other than students. Docents will retrieve and return all research information from files.

Photocopies: Letter-size copies of research materials are $0.30 per page ($0.20 for members) and will be made by Docents. Legal -size copies are $0.40 per page ($0.30  for members.) Research materials cannot be removed from the premises.

Digital Images: Researchers may bring their own digital cameras, smartphones, and scanners to copy written documents only. Scanning photographs is prohibited.

Photo Duplication: Arrangements can be made by the Society for making copies of photos for $2.00 per image ($1.00 for members.)

Postage: Postage, if necessary, will be charged, at cost, to the applicant as required.

Permission: Permission to reproduce and/or publish, including copyrighting, an article or photograph from the Society’s collection must be coordinated through the office of the President of the Little Falls Historical Society.

This museum exists to discover, display, and conserve data, documents and artifacts that are a part of the history of Little Falls, and to maintain an institution of educational usefulness.
