SEPTEMBER 23 LITTLE FALLS HISTORICAL SOCIETY EVENT AT WCA

Town of Herkimer historian James Greiner’s latest book THE HOYT-WALLIS MURDER MYSTERY IN HERKIMER COUNTY will be the topic for his September 23 presentation at the WCA, located at 534 Garden Street in Little Falls.  John Wallis allowed his ex-wife, Arvilla, to return home, one year after running off with hired hand Ben Hoyt, and he also rehired Hoyt. Within months both Arvilla and Hoyt were dead. Did Hoyt murder Arvilla or did Wallis kill them both?  Attend and hear Greiner unravel this twisted mystery.

The event begins at 6 PM and is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
